The headline number is the midpoint of your range. Low-end prices fit simple jobs in lower-cost areas. High-end prices fit complex jobs, premium brands and high-cost metros.

How long does a repipe take?
Most houses are repiped in two to five days, with water shut off only during parts of each day.
When does a house need repiping?
Common reasons include galvanized or polybutylene pipes, frequent leaks, low pressure and discolored water.
Is PEX as good as copper?
PEX is widely accepted by codes, resists freezing damage better and costs less. Copper has a longer track record.
