The median wage for roofers in California is $63,600 a year, against a national median of $55,440 (U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, Occupational Employment and Wage Statistics, May 2025). We apply that 15% above-national difference to the labor share only, which moves the whole installed range by about 8% up.
